Additional Specifications

  • Complex Media accepts both standard image file formats and rich media creatives, including Flash 8. We work with all third party ad technologies, including Motif, Eyeblaster, PointRoll, and Klipmart with up to a 100k polite download.
  • Expanding ads require user-initiation with a click and audio ads require user-initiation with a click. Both need a prominent close/stop button. There is a 1 in 24 hour period cap on these interstitials.
  • 5x looping restriction for all sizes except 300x250. 30 second limit on animation for all sizes except 300x250. Also, ads may not employ persistent rapid/"strobing" animation of any graphic, copy, or background element(s).
  • Newsletter - Must be HTML files. No javascript, no CSS, no Dhtml. Text to graphic ratio should be 50/50. Maximum size 70kb including images. Avoid words such as sale, free, discount, and other words which promote spam.
